Yoga for Hormonal and Glandular Support - a 3hrs Workshops with Abigail Stevenson

Join Katonah Yoga® and Thyroid Yoga® teacher Abigail Stevenson for a workshop to restore, renew, refresh, and re-calibrate your glandular system. Together, we’ll explore the body’s integrative glandular system through yoga and learn how your body’s systems work in harmony and in sync with your environment. Begin to learn the importance of the thyroid and the lungs as the minister organs of the body.
The practice specifically targets the thyroid, adrenals, lungs, liver, and lymphatic system, both facilitating a nervous system reset and inviting the body to recalibrate. Ultimately, this promotes more efficient functioning to the entire glandular system.
The workshop will begin with an introduction to Thyroid Yoga® and hormonal balancing techniques, building our way into a revitalizing flow practice with pranayama and restorative. We will have time at the end for Q+A.
What’s included:
Everyone will receive a thyroid yoga handout featuring general information about the thyroid, tips for supporting the thyroid, and a sample thyroid yoga class.
Schedule
Part 1 (1 hour): Introduction to thyroid yoga (what the thyroid is, general discussion about thyroid health, and discussing the practice, questions/conversation)
Break: 15 minutes
Part 2 (1 hour 15): Practice
